WINTHROP, Mass. (12/9/25) - Two Ravens earned weekly honors from the New England Women's Hockey Alliance on Tuesday after a 2-1 win and shootout win over the top NEWHA team, Saint Anselm College. 

Jill Hertl (Highland Park, Ill.) was named Goalkeeper of the Week after making a combined 59 saves in both games against the hawks. She additionally blocked every shot attempted during the shootout against Saint Anselm, securing the shootout win for the Ravens. With the win on Wednesday, Hertl became the first goalie in history to reach 50 career wins. 

Abigail Broz (White Bear Lake, Minn.) was also named Rookie of the Week, marking her third time receiving the honor this season. In Wednesday's 2-1 win, she had the game winning goal over the Hawks. Broz also recorded an assist in game 2 of the series and the only Raven to score in the shootout win. 

The Ravens will continue their season in 2026, where they will play Sacred Heart University at Jason Ritchie Ice Arena on Friday, January 9th.
