WINTHROP, Mass. (12/30/15) - Abigail Broz (White Bear Lake, Minn.) was named TSR Rookie of the Month by the New England Women's Hockey Alliance for her outstanding performance in the December, recording game winning goals in both contests against Saint Anselm. 

Broz played a pivotal role in the NEWHA series against Saint Anselm, helping the Ravens sweep the Hawks. In the 2-1 win over Saint Anselm, Broz scored the game winning goal to put the Ravens on top over the Hawks. In the 3-3 shootout win in the following game, Broz scored the only goal in the shootout from both teams, completing the series sweep over the top team in the NEWHA conference. 

The TSR Players of the Month are recognized by the New England Women's Hockey Alliance to highlight top performances from around the conference. 

The Ravens resume conference play at home on January 9th against Sacred Heart University at 7:00 PM.
