WINTHROP, Mass. (10/28/25) - Senior Goaltender,
Jill Hertl (Highland Park, Ill.) was announced as Goaltender of the Week by the New England Women's Hockey Alliance on Tuesday after her impressive 47 saves in the 3-1 win over the University of Vermont.
Hertl played a pivotal role in keeping the Catamounts to one goal over the Ravens in the Saturday night game against UVM. While the Catamounts fired 48 shots at Hertl, she was able to save 47 of them. After the Ravens went 3-1 over the Catamounts in the second period, she faced 22 shots alone in the third period, keeping the Ravens at their two-goal lead over the Ravens.
This marks Hertl's third win of the season with a season high in saves, improving her save percentage to .941 on the season.
The Ravens will face off against the Greyhounds of Assumption University this weekend, playing their first game of the season at the Jason Ritchie Ice Arena on Friday (10/31).
