Burlington, Vt. (10/25/2025) - After a scoreless first half, Franklin Pierce found their groove in Vermont, scoring three goals in the second period for the 3-1 win over University of Vermont.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Despite 16 shots, Jill Hertl was able to fend off the Catamounts in the first period, keeping the score even 0-0.
- The Ravens came out firing in the second period, with 14 shots. Alexandria Cistolo found the back of the net first in the second minute of the second period to put the Ravens ahead 1-0.
- Her goal was closely followed by Addison Andre. Andre put Franklin Pierce ahead 2-0 four minutes in, off assists from Abigail Broz and Stella Retrum.
- UVM looked to fight back with a goal from George Brooke shortly after, which cut the deficit to one goal, making the score 2-1.
- With less than two minutes in the second period, McKenzie Grimm found the back of the net off assists from Mariana Valeri and Emma Laroche. This would be the final goal of the game, with the Ravens leading 3-1.
- Franklin Pierce played a strong defensive third period, facing 22 shots, and not letting one in.
