NORTH ATTLEBORO, Mass. (10/13/25) - Franklin Pierce University men's soccer graduate student Joao Araujo (Madeira, Portugal) has been named the Northeast 10 Player of the Week, as announced by the league office on Monday afternoon.
Araujo was the driving force behind the Ravens' offense last week, playing a pivotal role in a thrilling 4–3 road victory over Saint Michael's. He was directly involved in three of Franklin Pierce's four goals, scoring once and assisting twice – including the game-tying and go-ahead tallies – while also registering five shots in the match. He also generated multiple scoring opportunities in a 0–0 draw against Southern Connecticut State, as the Ravens remain unbeaten in NE10 play.
The Ravens (5-2-2, 3-0-1 NE10) return to action on Wednesday, October 15, when they travel to face Saint Thomas Aquinas College in a non-conference matchup scheduled for 12:00 p.m.
