Travis Brent enters his third season as the head coach of Franklin Pierce University's men's soccer team in 2025.
(2025) In his third season leading the Ravens, Brent guided his team to a 12-4-4 overall record and a 6-1-2 NE10 record. Pierce won the NE10 Championship in a dominant 4-1 win over Bentley University, and made their third appearance in the NCAA National DII Men's Soccer Tournament under Brent's Leadership. Seven Ravens earned NE10 All-Conference Honors, with Stepan Fiker earning NE10 Rookie of the Year. Joao Araujo, Guillermo Avendano, and Julen Martin also joined Fiker in collecting D2CCA All-East Region Honors.
(2024) In his second season at the helm, Brent led the Ravens to a 12-3-5 overall record and a 4-1-4 mark in NE10 play. Franklin Pierce advanced to the NE10 Semifinals and earned a berth in the NCAA DII Championships, marking another postseason appearance under his leadership. Seven Ravens collected NE10 All-Conference honors, with Jesse Oostendorp earning Second Team recognition and a spot on the NE10 All-Rookie Team. Tiago Barriguinha and Antonio Lima also received United Soccer Coaches All-East Region First Team honors.
(2023) Under Brent's leadership, the Ravens posted an undefeated 21-0-2 record and claimed the NCAA Division II Men's Soccer National Championship. The team also secured the NCAA DII Regional Championship, NE-10 Conference Tournament title, and NE-10 Regular Season Championship. Brent and his staff were named the NCAA DII National Coaching Staff of the Year for their accomplishments.
During his four years as an assistant at the University of Charleston, Brent helped the team amass a 71-6-4 record, winning four MEC Conference titles, two NCAA DII Super Region 1 championships, and the 2019 NCAA DII National Championship. Brent's coaching résumé also includes guiding the University of Charleston to the 2021 NCAA DII Men's Soccer National Final, where they finished as runners-up.
Before joining Franklin Pierce, Brent gained coaching experience at Francis Marion University and various club settings in the United States and internationally. As a player, Brent competed professionally in the Netherlands with Heracles Almelo and Almere City FC and later in the United States with Harrisburg City Islanders in the USL Championship. His collegiate career at Marshall University earned him multiple accolades, including all-conference recognition. Brent holds a bachelor's degree in Economics from Marshall University and a master's degree in Strategic Leadership from the University of Charleston.
