Ravens Fight Hard But Can’t Capitalize, Tie 0-0

Rindge, N.H. (10/11/2025) - Franklin Pierce mens soccer played a hard-fought 90 minutes against the Owls of Southern Connecticut State in their NE10 conference matchup. Despite opportunities for both teams, neither team could find the back of the net.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

  • The first half saw back-and-forth play, with both teams finding rhythm in transition but unable to break through solid defensive lines. 
  • The Owls were able to find an opportunity just over one minute into play, but weren't able to get past David Skorodumov, and wouldn't for the remainder of the game. 
  • In the second half, the Ravens were able to find more offensive opportunities, but also could not capitalize.
  • Both teams saw only three shots on goal. For the Ravens, form Guillermo Avendano, Monaco Lauria Calvo, and Adonso Oliveira. 
  • Both teams were physical with each other, totaling 29 fouls throughout the game.

  • Franklin Pierce outshot the Owls 11-7
  • David Skorodumov tallied 3 saves, on each shot on goal. 
  • Pierce tallied 13 fouls to the Owls 16
