Former Raven Baseball Player Kyle Roche ’24 Earns Triple-A Promotion

RINDGE, N.H. – Former Franklin Pierce University baseball standout pitcher Kyle Roche '24 has been promoted to the Triple-A Salt Lake Bees in the Los Angeles Angels organization.

Roche was assigned to Salt Lake and activated by the Bees on August 8 after pitching for the High-A Tri-City Dust Devils. The promotion moves the former Raven to the highest level of Minor League Baseball, just one step below the majors.

Roche put together a decorated four-year career at Franklin Pierce from 2021-24, finishing with a 22-10 record, 3.92 ERA and 297 strikeouts across 234.1 innings while holding opposing hitters to a .218 batting average. He earned All-NE10 First Team and ABCA/Rawlings East All-Region First Team honors in 2022 and NCBWA All-East Region Second Team recognition in 2023.

His breakout season came in 2022, when Roche went 6-2 with a 2.00 ERA and 94 strikeouts in 76.1 innings, helping the Ravens earn a berth in the NCAA Championship. He followed with eight-win seasons in both 2023 and 2024, including a career-high 97 strikeouts in 2023.

Following his senior season, Roche signed with the Los Angeles Angels in July 2024. He began his professional career with the ACL Angels before advancing to Single-A Inland Empire and High-A Tri-City.

Roche has continued his success in professional baseball, making 76 appearances over the 2025 and 2026 seasons. He has compiled an 8-1 record with 109 strikeouts in 117.2 innings before earning his promotion to Triple-A Salt Lake.
