RINDGE, N.H. (6/2/26) – The College Sports Communicators (CSC) announced its 2026 Academic All-District Team for baseball, with Franklin Pierce University senior Joey Acker earning recognition for his success both on the field and in the classroom.
Acker, a senior outfielder from Upton, Massachusetts, carries a 3.86 cumulative GPA as a Health Sciences major. He started all 43 games for the Ravens this season, batting .365 with 57 hits, 47 runs scored, 10 doubles, four home runs, 21 RBI and a perfect 19-for-19 mark in stolen base attempts. He also posted a .490 on-base percentage and a .989 fielding percentage during the 2025-26 campaign.
Following the season, Acker earned Northeast 10 All-Conference Second Team honors.
Acker was also selected for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. Student-athletes selected as CSC Academic All-America® finalists are denoted with an asterisk and will advance to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced June 23.
The 2026 Academic All-District® Baseball teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes baseball honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
