NORTH ATTLEBORO, Mass. (4/28/26) - The Franklin Pierce University women's tennis team placed four student-athletes on the Northeast 10 All-Conference teams, highlighted by Ines Gabarro (Barcelona, Spain) earning Rookie of the Year honors, as announced by the league office on Tuesday.
Gabarro headlined the group with a standout first season, while Candela Tortosa (Valencia, Spain), Sara Gonzalez (Bogota, Colombia), and Ana Muñoz (Anzoategui, Venezuela) each earned All-Conference recognition in doubles play.
Gabarro was named the NE10 Rookie of the Year, in addition to collecting All-Conference Second Team (No. 2 Doubles), All-Conference Third Team (No. 1 Singles), and All-Rookie Team honors. She competed primarily at the top singles position for the Ravens, finishing with seven singles victories on the season.
Tortosa earned All-Conference Second Team honors at No. 2 Doubles, pairing with Gabarro to post a 10-7 overall record at the position.
Gonzalez and Muñoz were named to the All-Conference Second Team at No. 3 Doubles, anchoring the spot all season. The duo compiled a 10-9 overall record.
The team finished 6-13 overall and 6-6 in NE10 play, finishing fourth in the NE10.
