RINDGE, N.H. (04/18/26) – The Franklin Pierce University women's tennis team dropped a 4-1 decision to Southern New Hampshire in a Northeast 10 matchup that was played to clinch on Saturday morning.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Southern New Hampshire claimed the doubles point with wins at No. 1 and No. 2 doubles to take an early 1-0 lead.
In singles play, the Penmen secured wins at No. 1 and No. 2 to move within one point of the match. Gabriela Yamate (Sao Paulo, Brazil) earned the lone point for the Ravens with a straight-set victory at No. 4 singles, 7-5, 6-4.
The match was played to clinch, with remaining courts finishing after the decision was secured.
UP NEXT FOR THE RAVENS: The Ravens closed out the regular season with a 6-6 mark in NE10 play, earning the No. 4 seed in the upcoming NE10 Tournament. Franklin Pierce will host No. 5 seed Saint Anselm in a first-round matchup next Friday (April 24).
