Ravens Fall to Saint Anselm in NE10 First Round

RINDGE, N.H. (04/24/26) – The Franklin Pierce University women's tennis team dropped a 4-1 decision to Saint Anselm in the Northeast 10 Conference First Round on Friday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED

Saint Anselm claimed the doubles point with wins at No. 1 and No. 3 doubles. Franklin Pierce's duo of Ana Munoz (Anzoategui, Venezuela) and Sara Gonzalez (Bogota, Columbia) picked up a 6-1 win at No. 2 doubles.

In singles play, Saint Anselm clinched the match with wins at No. 1, No. 4 and No. 6 singles.

Gonzalez accounted for the lone point for the Ravens, earning a straight-set victory at No. 2 singles, 6-1, 6-2.

UP NEXT FOR THE RAVENS: The Ravens end their 2025-26 campaign in this match with a 6-13 overall record and a 6-6 record in NE10 play.
