RINDGE, N.H. (3/6/26) - As the NEWHA Postseason continues for the Women's Ice Hockey Team, No. 1 Franklin Pierce is set to host Saint Anselm College for the NEWHA Championship Game on Saturday, March 7th at 7:00 PM.

Tickets to the event will be available upon entry to the Jason Ritchie Ice Arena. Admission to the game is $10 dollars for adults and $5 dollars for Seniors, Students (with valid school ID) and Children. First 100 students with ID will get free admission into the contest. The game will also be aired live on FloSports.

The matchup between the Ravens and Hawks marks a rematch from the 2022 NEWHA Championship game, where the Ravens blanked the Hawks 1-0. So far this season, the Ravens have defeated Saint Anselm 3 times, once in a shootout, and lost in the final game of the season.

In the Semifinals, the Hawks were able to get past No. 2 Assumption, with two goals from NEWHA Player of the Year, Brooklyn Schneiderhan, who has led the Hawks and the league on offensive ranking all season. The 2-1 win over the Greyhounds gives the Hawks their first Championship appearance since 2023.

Schneiderhan has posted 25 goals and 23 assists for 48 points this season, leading the team's offensive efforts. Freshman Goaltender Kayla Czukoski, who made the NEWHA All-Rookie Team, has recorded 1229 saves with a .936 SV% and 2.63 GAA, helping the Hawks with their success.

As for the Ravens, they pushed the Semifinal game into overtime against the Stonehill Skyhawks after Hailey Anderson (Greer, S.C.) scored with less than three minutes left in the game. Shortly after entering the double overtime period, freshman Abigail Broz (White Bear Lake, Minn.) found the back of the net on a power play opportunity, sending the Ravens back to the NEWHA Championship game since 2024.

Caleigh Murphy (Belle Harbor, N.Y.) has recorded 17 goals and 16 assists in the 2025-26 campaign, leading the team and ranking top five in multiple offensive statistics across the NEWHA. Additionally, NEWHA Rookie of the Year, Addison Andre (South St. Paul, Minn.) falls shortly behind Murphy, contributing to the offensive efforts. Anchoring the Ravens this season has been Senior Goaltender Jill Hertl (Highland Park, Ill.), leading the league in save percentage, goals against average, and win percentage. Her success this season earned her NEWHA Goaltender of the Year.

The winner of this matchup will earn a trip to the National Collegiate Championship.
