WINTHROP, Mass. (3/10/26) - The New England Women's Hockey Alliance announced on Tuesday that four Ravens earned TSR Monthly Honors for the month of February, sweeping all four awards. The Ravens only lost one game in the month of February, closing out the 2025-26 regular season on a high note and continuing the momentum into the postseason.
Sophomore Caleigh Murphy (Belle Harbor, N.Y.) was named TSR Player of the Month after recording 14 points in the month of February. Murphy tallied more than one point in multiple games throughout the month, even recording her first career hat trick in game one of the NEWHA Quarterfinal. She ended the regular season leading the team in points, while also ranking top five in points and plus/minus in the conference.
Senior Defensemen, Maggie Korneta (Naperville, Ill.) was named TSR Defensive Player of the Month. In February, Korneta collected 7 points, her most notable appearance being in game one of the NEWHA Quarterfinal, where she contributed 3 assists to the Ravens' dominant 8-0 win over Saint Michael's. She also blocked 7 shots, leading the team with 49 blocks throughout the season.
Senior Goaltender, Jill Hertl (Highland Park, Ill.) recorded 6 wins throughout February, while also earning two shutouts which led her to take over the career shutout program record this month. Hertl also led Division 1 in the month of February in save percentage with .971. Hertl also recorded her second 50+ save performance this season in the 4-2 win over Saint Anselm.
Freshman Abigail Broz (White Bear Lake, Minn.) won her second TSR Rookie of the Month honor this season for the month of February. Broz recorded 11 points throughout the month, contributing 2 goals and 9 assists to the Ravens' offensive success. In game two of the NEWHA Quarterfinal, Broz helped the Ravens get past Saint Michael's with 2 goals and 2 assists in the game.
The Ravens will travel to Madison, Wisconsin to play against Quinnipiac in the Regional Semifinal of the National College Women's Ice Hockey Championship on March 12th at 8:00 PM EST.
