WINTHROP, Mass. (3/5/26) - The New England Women's Hockey Alliance announced their end-of-season awards on Thursday, with two Ravens earning major awards and head coach
David Stockdale being named NEWHA Coach of the Year. Additionally, four more Ravens were earned All-Conference honors.
Selected by the league's coaches, student-athletes from the conference's eight member institutions were recognized for their outstanding performances throughout the 2025-26 season.
Head coach
David Stockdale led the team to a regular season record of 19-11-2 overall and 18-8-2 in the conference. The Ravens secured NEWHA regular season champions and a first-place bid in the NEWHA postseason. With being named NEWHA Coach of the Year, this marks his second accolade from the NEWHA conference in his career.
Senior
Jill Hertl (Highland Park, Ill.) was named NEWHA Goaltender of the Year. Hertl ends the regular season with 841 saves, with a .951 save percentage and 1.85 goals against average. Hertl earned NEWHA Goalie of the Week five times throughout the 2025-26 campaign and was named to the HCA Women's National Goalie of the Year Watchlist for the second year in a row. Hertl sits first in the NEWHA conference in goals against average, save percentage, and win percentage. With also earning a spot on the All-NEWHA First Team, this All-Conference Honor marks the first of her career.
Also highlighting this year's major awards is freshman
Addison Andre (South St. Paul, Minn.) who was named NEWHA Rookie of the Year. In her debut season with the Ravens, Andre tallied 13 goals and 10 assists, earning 23 points at the end of the regular season, sitting third amongst the team in scoring. Throughout the season, Andre was named Rookie of the Week three times, while also being named Player of the Week once and TSR Rookie of the Month in January. Andre was also named to the NEWHA All-Rookie Team.
Senior
Maggie Korneta (Naperville, Ill.) was named to the All-NEWHA first team for her defensive efforts throughout the season. Korneta has recorded 6 goals and 11 in the regular season, while also leading the team with 47 blocks. She was additionally named Defensive Player of the Week once and TSR Defensive Player of the Month for September/October. Korneta was also a finalist for NEWHA Defensive Player of the Year.
Sophomore
Caleigh Murphy (Belle Harbor, N.Y.) was named to the All-NEWHA Second Team. Murphy led the team in points, along with earning multiple top spots in offensive stat categories in the conference, while leading the NEWHA in plus/minus rating. Murphy ended the regular season with 13 goals and 15 assists.
Along with Andre, freshman
Melanie Targosz (Livonia, Mich.) was named to the NEWHA All-Rookie Team. Targosz had 40 blocked shots throughout the season, while offensively scoring 3 goals and collecting 12 assists at the end of the regular season. Targosz was named Defensive Player of the Week twice throughout the season and was named TSR Defensive Player of the Month in November.
Rounding out the awards for the Ravens, junior
Ashley Wright (Milford, Conn.) was named to the NEWHA All-Sportsmanship Team. Playing 32 games for the Ravens in the regular season, Wright tallied 2 goals and 6 assists while blocking 43 shots.
