LOWELL, Mass. (10/5/25) – The Franklin Pierce University women's rowing team continued its fall season on Sunday at the Textile River Regatta on the Merrimack River in Lowell, Massachusetts. The Ravens entered four boats across the Collegiate Novice 4+, Collegiate 2x (double), Collegiate Varsity 4+, and Collegiate 1x (single) events, producing another strong showing on the water.
In the Women's Collegiate Novice 4+, Franklin Pierce placed second out of three boats with a time of 20:43.9, finishing behind Merrimack College (18:31.1) and ahead of Endicott (23:28.7).
In the Women's Open 2x, the Ravens' duo of Z Abdelnur and Alexis Massey earned a second-place finish in 18:59.6, trailing Simmons A (18:22.9) and finishing ahead of Simmons B (20:01.1).
Franklin Pierce also entered a Varsity 4+, racing in the Women's Open 4+ field. The Ravens took second place with a time of 19:32.9, following Simmons (18:13.4) and placing ahead of Simmons B (20:07.0) and Endicott (20:13.9).
Rounding out the day, Alexis Massey competed in the Women's Open 1x, placing third with a time of 23:15.7 behind Riverside's Katarina Dickson (18:12.6) and Gentle Giant's Saskia Solotko (19:13.4).
