WORCESTER, Mass. (10/25/25) - The Franklin Pierce University women's rowing team closed out its fall campaign at the Wormtown Chase Regatta on Lake Quinsigamond, hosted in Worcester, Massachusetts.
In the Women's Collegiate 2x, the Ravens' duo of Z Abdelnur (Augusta, Ga.) and Alexis Massey (Old Saybrook, Conn.) claimed first place with a time of 23:38.1, finishing ahead of Long Island University (23:46.0) and the University of Maine (27:33.2). The win marked a strong close to the fall season for Abdelnur and Massey, who continue to show consistency and speed in small-boat racing.
Meanwhile, the Women's Collegiate Novice 4+ posted a third-place finish with a final time of 25:38.2, trailing Wesleyan (22:48.9) and Long Island University (24:52.8) while edging out Assumption's "B" crew.
