WINTHROP, Mass. (6/17/26) - On Wednesday, the New England Women's Hockey Alliance announced 174 student athletes across the conference to the NEWHA All-Academic Team. 

To be eligible for the NEWHA All-Academic Team, student-athletes must have achieved at least a 3.0 grade-point average in both the first and second semesters. The Student-Athlete of the Year designation is awarded to the student-athlete(s) who have maintained the highest grade-point average in the league. 

Franklin Pierce had 24 student athletes named to the NEWHA All-Academic Team.
