EASTON, Mass. (5/9/26) – The Franklin Pierce men's and women's track & field teams competed at the NEICAAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships, highlighted by multiple scoring performances against some of the top competitions in New England.
Women's Results
The Franklin Pierce women totaled 10 team points, led by sophomore Issys Price, who earned a sixth-place finish in the 100-meter dash. After qualifying for the final with a time of 12.10 in preliminaries, Price matched that mark in the championship race to score three points.
The Ravens also found success in the hammer throw, where sophomore Abigail Philbin placed fifth with a mark of 48.61 meters (159-6) to score four points, while freshman Alexa Sprague followed closely in sixth with a throw of 47.16 meters (154-9), adding three points.
Junior Lanette StJohn narrowly missed scoring in the 400-meter dash, placing ninth in 58.74, while freshman Rachel Leblanc also just missed the scoring positions with a ninth-place finish in the high jump after clearing 1.47 meters (4-9.75).
Men's Results
The Franklin Pierce men scored 8 team points, led by junior Viktar Kachalouski, who earned a fourth-place finish in the high jump after clearing 2.01 meters (6-7.00) to score five points.
Freshman Anthony Johnson added another scoring performance in the triple jump, finishing sixth with a mark of 13.46 meters (44-2.00) to earn three points and All-New England honors.
Senior Connor Wilcox turned in a strong distance performance, placing ninth in the 5,000 meters with a time of 15:23.13, while freshman Jah Matthews posted a solid 13th-place finish in the shot put with a mark of 14.29 meters (46-10.75).
Franklin Pierce closed the weekend with a strong all-around performance.
