MANCHESTER, N.H. (4/11/26) – The Franklin Pierce track & field teams delivered a dominant all-around performance at the SNHU Ed Daniels Classic on Saturday, highlighted by multiple event victories and a strong presence across both track and field events.
MEN'S RESULTS
The Ravens were led by a pair of event wins on the men's side, as Connor Wilcox (Colchester, Conn.) captured the 5,000 meters in 15:19.51, while Sam Fortin (Hebron, Conn.) took first in the 3,000-meter steeplechase with a time of 9:48.80. Franklin Pierce controlled the steeplechase, placing four runners in the top 10, including Gunner Currier (2nd, 9:55.51), John Viens (6th, 10:18.74) and Trevor Maheu (10th, 10:37.69).
In the field events, the Ravens continued their strong showing. Viktar Kachalouski (Brest, Belarus) and Carson Thomas (Washington Township, NJ) each cleared 1.98 meters to finish second and third, respectively, in the high jump. In the triple jump, Anthony Johnson (Syracuse, N.Y.) placed third (13.87m), while Noah Delgado (Westfield, Mass.) added a third-place finish in the javelin (52.88m). The throws group contributed as well, with Sproul Derolus (Stoughton, Mass.) finishing sixth in the shot put (14.69m) and Seamus Considine (South Kingstown, R.I.) taking 10th in the hammer throw (48.48m). In the long jump, Zaire Rosa (Brooklyn, N.Y.) posted a mark of 6.43 meters, while Antonio Adams-Delgado (Westfield, Mass.) followed with a jump of 6.37 meters.
On the track, Noah Roberts (Westerly, R.I.) added a third-place finish in the 800 meters (1:54.62), while Jamel Lee (5th, 10.68) and Cristian Reinoso (7th, 22.13) turned in strong performances in the sprints.
WOMEN'S RESULTS
The women's team matched that success with standout performances in both track and field events. Lizzy Jones (St. Johnsbury, Vt.) claimed the pole vault title with a clearance of 3.20 meters, while the throws group dominated the shot put with a 1-2 finish from Ellie Nunes (1st, 10.55m) and Norah Tesini (2nd, 10.20m).
In the hammer throw, Alexa Sprague (3rd, 47.87m) and Abigail Philbin (4th, 47.56m) both reached the podium, while Destiny Fields added a fourth-place finish in the discus (38.58m). Lanette StJohn (Hayden, Ala.) contributed in multiple events, placing second in the 400-meter hurdles (1:03.36) and sixth in the javelin (34.42m). Rachel LeBlanc (Winchendon, Mass.) added a seventh-place finish in the high jump (1.52m).
On the track, Issys Price (Brockton, Mass.) led the way with a personal best second-place finish in the 100 meters (12.06), while Mimi Ortiz (Nashua, N.H.) took fifth in the 100-meter hurdles (15.35). In the 200 meters, Sidney Chapman (6th, 25.89) and Abigail Jacobson (10th, 26.35) both recorded top-10 finishes.
