REVERE, Mass. (2/8/26) - Franklin Pierce's throws group ended the weekend with a series of steady performances at the Greater Boston Track Club Meet, collecting top finishes across both the shot put and weight throw.
Men's Results
Freshman
Garrett Giovagnoli (Enfield, N.H.) headlined the day for the Ravens, winning the men's weight throw with a PR mark of 10.54m. He led a 1–2 Franklin Pierce sweep, with freshman
Noah Cutler (Wallkingford, Conn.) placing second at 8.05m.
In the men's shot put, sophomore
Brady Gaudet (Salem, N.H.) paced the group with a fifth-place finish at 10.45m. Cutler added a sixth-place mark of 9.60m, followed by junior
Evan Moore (Maynard, Mass.), 9.10m, and sophomore
Liam Alnwick (Gorham, N.H.), 9.04m, in seventh and eighth place. Freshman
Sam Abdullah (Manchester, N.H.) rounded out the Ravens' effort with a ninth-place throw of 8.38m, giving Franklin Pierce five of the top ten spots.
Women's Results
Sophomore
Troia Milotte (Sullivan, N.H.) led the women's squad in the shot put, earning runner-up with a mark of 8.67m. Freshman
Paige DeStefano (Berkley, Mass.) followed in third at 6.96m, and junior
Prudence Bosire (Leominster, Mass.) placed fourth at 5.66m, giving Franklin Pierce the 2–4 positions in the event.
In the women's weight throw, sophomore
Norah Tesini (Townsend, Mass.) turned in a strong runner-up PR mark of 11.64m. Milotte added a third-place finish at 10.58m, and DeStefano claimed fourth with 9.72m to complete another cluster of top finishes for the Ravens.
