BOSTON, Mass. (2/6/26) – The Franklin Pierce women's track & field squad opened the weekend at the UMass Lowell Riverhawk Invitational, held at The TRACK at New Balance, competing against a strong field of programsfrom all three divisions.
In the Weight Throw (Open),
Destiny Fields (Lindenwold, N.J.) delivered a top-five finish, placing 5th with a throw of 12.93m (42' 5¼").
In the Triple Jump (Open),
Kaitlyn Titus (Baltic, Conn.) secured a runner-up finish, leaping 10.03m (32' 11").
In the 200-meter dash,
Issys Price (Brockton, Mass.) clocked 25.92, finishing third overall. The performance marks her first time competing in the event and stands as the best 200m time on the team so far this season.
Up Next for the Ravens: The Franklin Pierce men's team will compete tomorrow at the same meet, returning to action on Day 2 of the Riverhawk Invitational. All the throwers will be back in action on Sunday, at the GBTC Invitational at the Gordon Track.
