BOSTON, Mass. (2/20/26) – Franklin Pierce Track & Field closed out the 2026 NE10 Indoor Championships at the TRACK at New Balance with strong performances across both days, highlighted by multiple podium finishes, NCAA provisional marks, and standout efforts from the Ravens' emerging young core.
The Franklin Pierce men's team placed 5th overall with 68 points while the women finished 4th with 74 points, as Southern Connecticut State swept both team titles.
MEN'S RESULTS
Franklin Pierce delivered several top-five finishes, led by freshman
Cristian Reinoso (Lawrence, Mass.), who reached two finals and earned an NCAA provisional mark. Reinoso ran 21.56 in the 200m prelims (provisional) and went on to place 3rd overall (21.61), scoring six key points.
The Ravens were equally strong in the field events. In the high jump,
Carson Thomas (Washington Township, N.J.) cleared 1.91m to claim 3rd place, while teammate
Antonio Adams-Delgado (Westfield, Mass.) followed closely in 4th at the same height.
Zaire Rosa (Brooklyn, N.Y.) also scored, taking 8th.
Franklin Pierce added a significant field event medal in the men's triple jump, where freshman
Anthony Johnson (Syracuse, N.Y.) earned the silver medal, jumping 13.77m (45'2.25") to secure eight points for the Ravens.
In the throws,
Jah'rece Matthews (Roosevelt, N.Y.) earned a 7th-place finish in the shot put with a mark of 14.18m (46'6.25").
On the track,
Sam Fortin (Hebron, Conn.) secured 5th in the mile, and freshman
Gunner Currier (Canaan, N.H.) broke into the top 10 in the 5000m. The men's DMR added points with a 4th-place finish, while the 4x800 squad also placed 5th.
WOMEN'S RESULTS
The women's sprint squad delivered one of FPU's best overall group showings in recent years.
Issys Price (Brockton, Mass.) sprinted to a silver medal in the 60m (7.70) and returned for a strong performance in the 200m.
Lanette StJohn (Hayden, Ala.) added a 5th-place finish in the 60m and placed 3rd in the 400m (57.72), helping the Ravens stay near the top of the standings throughout Day 2.
In the field, freshman
Kaitlyn Titus (Baltic, Conn.) earned a silver medal in the high jump (1.55m), while Rachel Leblanc (Winchendon, Mass.) placed 7th. In the throws,
Destiny Fields (Lindenwold, N.J.) produced a fourth-place finish in the shot put, throwing 12.27m (40'3.25"). Senior
Emily Nhun (Biddeford, Maine) added another point for the Ravens with an 8th-place finish in the shot put at 11.19m (36'8.5").
The Ravens' relay efforts capped the championship with the 4x400 finishing 5th. The women's DMR added big points with a 4th-place finish, while the 4x800 group placed 6th.
