NORTH ATTLEBORO, Mass. (9/7/26) - On Monday, graduate student Aino Martikainen (Järvenpää, Finland) was named Defensive Player of the Week by the Northeast 10 conference.  

This past week, Martikainen led her team to two wins over AIC and nationally ranked No. 9, Mercy University. In the game against AIC, Martikainen recorded one assist and played 83 minutes on defense. Against Mercy, she played a full 90 minutes, shutting down any chances that Mercy had of scoring. Offensively, she had 7 shots across both contests. 

The Ravens will play against Post University in Waterbury, Connecticut on Wednesday, September 9th at 7:00 PM.
