RINDGE, N.H. (1/29/26) - Six Ravens from the women's soccer team were honored by the New England Women's Intercollegiate Soccer Association earlier this month. Defender Samantha Breton (Chicopee, Mass.), defender Pinja Eklund (Klaukkala, Finland), midfielder Jenni Huttunen (Tuusula, Finland), and forward Claudia Peirce (Carver, Mass.) were named to NEWISA All-New England First Team. Midfielder Makenzie Shean (Agawam, Mass.) and forward Olivia Crespo (Ludlow, Mass.) were named to Second Team. 

The NEWISA All-New England Team, selected by NCAA Division II coaches from across the region, features First and Second Teams showcasing the top talent in New England.  

Breton, who earned Defensive Player of the Year honors from the NE10 and USC All-American First Team, made an impact on the 2025 season as a transfer. Starting in 23 games this season, Breton played a pivotal role in the backfield. 

Eklund, also played a pivotal role in the Ravens' defense this season, especially into the postseason, earning a spot on the D2WSOC All-Tournament Team. 

Huttunen recorded 8 goals and 4 assists for the Ravens. She also earned honors on D2CCA All-East Region First Team and USC All-East Region First Team. 

Peirce, who led the team in shots this season, additionally earned a spot on the NE10 All-Conference First Team and USC All-East Region Second Team. 

Shean, who earned a spot on the USC All-American Third Team and D2WSOC All-Tournament Team, led the team with 26 points this season. 

Crespo, who was a key player in the postseason by scoring three goals, two of them being game winners recorded a total of 7 goals and 5 assists.  

The Ravens were able to make a strong postseason run, making it all the way to the Championship game of the NCAA DII Women's Soccer Tournament.
