RINDGE, N.H. (6/16/26) – Twelve Franklin Pierce University student-athletes representing eight programs have been named to the 2025-26 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District® At-Large Team, as announced by the organization on Tuesday.
Franklin Pierce's honorees included Ian Dunham (men's golf), Todd Branish, Matthew Frett and Mario Paganini (men's ice hockey), Chuck Burmaster and Sean Cote (men's lacrosse), Lorelai Flanagan (women's golf), Alexis Massey (women's rowing), Reese Swanson (field hockey), Jill Hertl and Maggie Korneta (women's ice hockey), and Erin McIlroy (women's lacrosse).
The CSC Academic All-District® Team recognizes student-athletes for their combined success in competition and in the classroom. Nominees must meet sport-specific participation requirements while maintaining a cumulative grade-point average of at least 3.50.
Among Franklin Pierce's selections, two student-athletes advanced to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. Hertl and Korneta will now be considered for national Academic All-America® honors following standout seasons both athletically and academically.
The 2025-26 Academic All-District® Men's and Women's At-Large teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in athletics and academics. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes At-Large honorees across NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, NAIA and College Division classifications.
Academic All-America® selections will be announced later this summer.
