ROXBURY CROSSING, Mass. (1/30/26) — Franklin Pierce Track & Field opened its weekly competition slate with a strong collection of top-10 results at the Tigers Open, highlighted by a pair of event wins and several personal-best performances across track and field events.
Men's Results
The Ravens earned two event victories on the men's side. Freshman Evan Spence (Salem, N.H.) won the 800 meters with a persinal-best 1:58.09, while sophomore Sam Fortin (Hebron, Conn.) captured the 3000 meters in 8:58.13, marking a new personal best. Freshman Noah Roberts (Westerly, R.I.) added another top-10 finish in the 800, placing sixth in 2:03.56.
In the throws, junior Garrett Giovagnoli (Enfield, N.H.) recorded a top-20 result in the weight throw after placing 17th with a personal-best 10.39m.
Women's Results
Sophomore Norah Tesini (Townsend, Mass.) led the women with a fourth-place finish in the shot put, throwing a personal-best 10.24m. She doubled back with a strong sixth-place mark in the weight throw at 10.62m. Sophomore Troia Milotte (Sullivan, N.H.) delivered two top-10 placements of her own, taking sixth in the shot put at 9.23m and fifth in the weight throw at 10.64m. Freshman Paige DeStefano (Berkley, Mass.) added a top-10 performance in the weight throw, placing ninth with a personal-best 9.30m.
