KANSAS CITY, Mo. (8/6/2025) - As the new season approaches, both Franklin Pierce University men's and women's soccer programs have been recognized among the nation's best in the United Soccer Coaches (USC) Preseason Poll. The men's team will begin the year ranked No. 12, while the women's squad earned the No. 6 spot in the national rankings.
The Ravens men's soccer team is coming off a 12-3-5 campaign in 2024, which included a 4-1-4 record in Northeast-10 Conference play. Their season concluded in the NCAA Division II Third Round with a narrow 1-0 loss to Charleston (W.V.).
On the women's side, Franklin Pierce reached the NCAA Division II Final Four last season, where their impressive run ended against eventual national champion Cal Poly. The Ravens capped off a 20-4-1 season by winning the 2024 Northeast-10 Championship, their first conference title since 2018.
Both teams will kick off their 2025 seasons on the weekend of September 1. The men will open on Thursday, September 4, with a road match at Bridgeport University, while the women will visit St. Thomas Aquinas College on Friday, September 5.
