KANSAS CITY, Mo. (8/4/2025) – The Franklin Pierce University women's soccer program has been recognized with the College Team Academic Award for the 2024-25 academic year, as announced by United Soccer Coaches on Friday. The award is presented to programs that achieve a team GPA of 3.0 or higher over the course of the academic year.
The Ravens earned the honor with a 3.37 cumulative team GPA, marking the third consecutive year the program has received the award. In addition to the team accolade, Franklin Pierce saw a number of individual academic honors during the 2024-25 year, as four student-athletes earned Northeast-10 Academic All-Conference recognition, while two players were named United Soccer Coaches Scholar All-Americans and three were selected as USC Scholar All-Region honorees.
Claudia Peirce and
Aino Martikainen were both voted College Sports Communicators Academic All-Americans, and six Ravens were named to the CSC Academic All-District Team.
The Ravens will return to action and open their 2025 campaign on Friday, September 5, at St. Thomas Aquinas College. They will host their first home match on Saturday, September 13.
