NORTH ATTLEBORO, Mass. (8/19/25) - The Franklin Pierce University cross country programs earned middle-of-the-pack recognition in the 2025 Northeast-10 Conference Cross Country Coaches' Poll, released Tuesday afternoon. The Ravens were slotted fourth on the men's side and seventh on the women's side.
Head coach Liam Murphy enters his first season at the helm of the Ravens, looking to guide both squads forward in 2025.
On the men's side, the Ravens received 53 points to take the fourth-place spot, narrowly trailing Assumption (64) in third and edging out Southern New Hampshire (51) in fifth. Southern Connecticut (80, 8 first-place votes) was selected as the preseason favorite for the fourth straight year, followed by Bentley (70, 1 first-place vote). Adelphi (45), Saint Anselm (42), Saint Michael's (33), and American International (19) rounded out the rankings.
The Franklin Pierce women earned 44 points in the poll to secure seventh place. Southern Connecticut (81, 5 first-place votes) and Bentley (81, 4 first-place votes) were tied atop the standings, with the Owls edging the Falcons by one first-place tally. Southern New Hampshire (77, 1 first-place vote) was voted third, followed by Saint Anselm (70), Saint Michael's (55), and Adelphi (49). Pace (26) and American International (22) rounded out the top 10.
The Ravens will open the 2025 campaign at Bryant University for the Shawn M. Nassaney Invitational on September 6.
