Keene, N.H. (10/4/2025) - The men's and women's cross country teams stayed local this weekend, competing at the Keene State Invitational. The teams finished 7th and 26th, respectively, out of 26 teams each.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The women proved to be running against strong competitors, with the first Ravens finisher crossing the line in 179th place. Melany walked stayed consistent with previous times from the season, finishing the 6 kilometer race in 26:38.4. Jennifer Kulick and Lauren Muldoon crossed the line together with respective times of 29:49.0 and 29:53.4. Rachel Leblanc came in fourth for the Ravens clocking a time of 31:05.5. Rounding out the women's squad was Lillian Byrne, who posted a time of 34:00.0.
The men were able to make a statement against the competition. Sam Fortin finished first for the Ravens in the 8 kilometer race, with a time of 25:41.1. He was followed closely by freshman Gunner Currier, who crossed the line four seconds later - 25:44.4. Liam Doherty crossed third, with a time of 26:11.9. Freshman Evan Spence rounded out the top 100 finishers for Pierce at 94, with a time of 27:12.4.
UP NEXT FOR THE RAVENS: The men's and women's cross country teams will compete at the Hopkinton Cross Country Festival hosted by New England College next Friday, October 10th.
