HOW IT HAPPENED
- Saint Anselm set the tone early, taking advantage of short field position after a Franklin Pierce turnover. Ronan Noke capped a quick two-play, 35-yard drive with a five-yard rushing touchdown just over a minute into the game.
- The Hawks extended their lead midway through the second quarter as quarterback Drew Forkner connected with Domingo Meade for a 20-yard touchdown to make it 14-0. Despite several promising drives from Franklin Pierce, the Ravens were unable to capitalize before halftime.
- Defense dominated much of the second half, with both teams trading stops deep into the fourth quarter. Saint Anselm sealed the game with just under two minutes remaining, as Noke punched in his second rushing touchdown of the afternoon from four yards out to push the lead to 21-0.
