WORCESTER, Mass. - The Franklin Pierce University women's volleyball team earned a three-set sweep over Assumption University on Tuesday night at Andrew Laska Gymnasium.
With the victory, the Ravens improve to 3-4 on the season.
Franklin Pierce controlled the match from the opening serve, winning by set scores of 25-16, 25-21 and 25-18. The Ravens finished with 37 kills and a .221 hitting percentage while holding the Greyhounds to 31 kills and a .112 hitting percentage.
Maddie Swanson led the Ravens with a double-double, recording a match-high 10 kills and 10 digs.
Giuliana Pamatat delivered an efficient all-around performance with eight kills on eight attempts, 23 assists and five digs.
Adrianna Reay added seven kills and 11 digs, while Marija Milosevic finished with five kills, four service aces and two solo blocks.
Brook Barkley contributed nine digs and one service ace.
The Ravens return to action on Friday, September 11, with two matches at the Triton Invite in St. Petersburg, Florida. Franklin Pierce will face Saint Leo University at 12:15 p.m. before taking on host Eckerd College at 4:45 p.m.
