CANDIA, N.H. (4/9/2026) - The Franklin Pierce men's golf team finished seventh out of seven teams at the Hawk Invitation this week.

- Seth Saffell finished first for the Ravens, tying 12th overall, going +9 on the tournament, shooting a total of 151 over the two rounds. On day one, Saffell shot two birdies, shooting even on the front nine and four over on the back for a score of 35-40—75 on the par 71 course. Day two saw consistency, again with two birdies to go 37-39—76.
- Albert Kim finished second for Franklin Pierce, tying for 18th place, shooting +11 throughout the two rounds (153 total). Kim shot four birdies over the two days, with one in round one and three on the back half of round two. Day one saw Kim shoot 38-38—76 and 41-36—77.
- Ian Dunham and Luke Richards followed closely, going +12 to tie for 22nd place. Dunham shot 38-40—78 in round one with one birdie on the back nine, and 38-38—76 in round two with birdies on the middle two holes. Richards shot even on the front nine of round one with a birdie and two birdies on the back nine to go 35-40—75. On day two, Richards went 39-40—79 with one birdie. Both totaled 159 over the two days.
- Samuel Arnold took 24th place with two birdies on the back nine of day one, shooting 42-36—78, and a single birdie on the front nine of day two to go 38-39—77 for a total of 155.
- Connor Griffin rounded out the tournament for Franklin Pierce with three birdies, all on the back nine of day one. Griffin shot 43-35—78 and 40-44—84 in each round to total 162.
UP NEXT FOR THE RAVENS: Franklin Pierce is back in action this weekend at the Penmen Season Finale. The two day tournament will begin on Friday, April 17 at Beaver Meadow Golf Course in Concord, N.H.
