INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (4/26/26) – For the second consecutive season, Seth Saffell (Castro, Valley, Calif.) of the Franklin Pierce University men's golf team has been selected to compete as an individual at the NCAA Division II Atlantic/East Regional Championships. 

This year's regional will be held May 7–9 at Sunnehanna Country Club in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, with the University of Pittsburgh, Johnstown serving as host. 

Saffell is one of four individuals selected from the East Region to compete in the championship field, representing Franklin Pierce among the top golfers in the region. 

At a minimum, the top three teams and the top two student-athletes not competing with a team from each regional will advance to the NCAA Division II Championships finals, scheduled for May 18–22 at Boulder Creek Golf Club in Boulder City, Nevada. 

This marks Saffell's second straight NCAA Regional selection.
