WALTHAM, MASS. (4/6/2026) - Franklin Pierce women's tennis showed dominance in their NE10 conference match against Bentley University, not allowing the Falcons to take a point, Monday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Ravens picked up the first point of the match in doubles. Ainhoa Ordonez and Gabriela Yamate took the court first, edging the competition 7-6. Ines Gabarro and Candela Tortosa, as well as Ana Munoz and Sara Gonzalez dominated in their respective doubles matches, taking each 6-2.
- Franklin Pierce was able to win all of their singles matches in two sets, proving efficient on the court. Gabarro took the court first in singles, winning 6-3 in back-to-back sets. Gonzalez followed, allowing only two points against her in the first set, and taking the second 6-3. Ordonez did not allow a single point against her, taking both sets 6-0. Yamate took her first set 6-1, but had to battle for the second, ultimately winning 7-6. Tortosa also proved dominant, allowing only three points against her in both sets (6-1, 6-2). Munoz completed the sweep for the Ravens, taking set one 6-4 and set two 6-3.
UP NEXT FOR THE RAVENS: The Ravens return home for their conference match against Saint Michael's College tomorrow, Tuesday, April 7. The match is set to begin at 11:00 AM.
