Ravens Fall to SNHU on Senior Day

RINDGE, N.H. (4/26/26) - On senior day, the Ravens fell in their first conference series of the season, dropping both ends of the doubleheader against Southern New Hampshire University.  

GAME ONE – Franklin Pierce 1, Southern New Hampshire 4 

Franklin Pierce struck first in the bottom of the first inning, as Savannah Arreguin (Los Angeles, Calif.) reached base and eventually came around to score on a throwing error to give the Ravens a 1-0 lead. 

The Penmen answered in the second inning, drawing multiple walks before Livi Sousa worked a bases-loaded walk to tie the game at 1-1. 

Southern New Hampshire took control in the fifth inning with a three-run frame. Peyton Feldman delivered an RBI single, followed by an RBI single from Alyssa Abbott to extend the lead to 3-1. 

The Penmen added an insurance run in the seventh inning on a sacrifice fly by Sousa to make it 4-1. 

Arreguin led the Ravens offensively with two hits, while Taylor Ellis (Crandall, Texas) added a pair of doubles. 

GAME TWO – Franklin Pierce 1, Southern New Hampshire 11 

Southern New Hampshire's offense erupted in the second game, scoring in five different innings to complete the sweep. 

The Penmen got on the board early with two runs in the first inning, highlighted by a two-RBI double from Mikaya Alto. 

Southern New Hampshire broke the game open in the third inning when Abby Lineman launched a three-run home run to push the lead to 5-0. 

Franklin Pierce got its lone run in the third inning, as Arreguin doubled home Camryn Van Valkenburgh (San Dimas, Calif.) to cut the deficit to 5-1. 

The Penmen continued to add on, scoring two runs in the fourth inning and tacking on additional runs in the fifth and seventh to extend the lead to 11-1. 

NEXT UP FOR THE RAVENS: The Ravens will travel to Saint Michael's College for a conference double header on Tuesday, April 28th, starting at 2:30 PM.
