Ravens Drop Doubleheader at Saint Anselm

MANCHESTER, N.H. (4/17/26) – Franklin Pierce baseball fell in both ends of a Northeast 10 doubleheader at Saint Anselm on Friday at Sullivan Park.

Game 2: Saint Anselm 12, Franklin Pierce 6

HOW IT HAPPENED 
Game 1

  • Saint Anselm jumped out early with six runs in the first inning and added three more in the second to build a 9-0 lead.
  • Franklin Pierce got on the board in the fourth, scoring three runs. Jaocb Roque (Wilmington, Mass.) drove in a run with a single, Braylen Andruw Centeno (Merced, Calif.) added an RBI after being hit by a pitch, and Joey Acker (Upton, Mass.) followed with an RBI single to make it 9-3.
  • The Hawks responded with 12 unanswered runs over the fifth through seventh innings, including multiple home runs, to pull away for the 21-3 final.
  • Acker led the Ravens with two hits and an RBI, while Roque and Centeno each drove in a run.

Game 2

  • Saint Anselm again struck early, scoring two runs in the first and five in the second to take a 7-0 advantage.
  • Franklin Pierce answered in the fifth inning with four runs. Acker delivered a two-RBI double, and Rafael Rodriguez Rosa (Meriden, Conn.) followed with a two-run home run to cut the deficit to 8-4.
  • The Ravens added two more in the sixth on a two-RBI single from Andreas Boglis (Stouffville, Ontario), making it 10-6.
  • The Hawks responded with runs in the fifth and sixth innings to extend the lead and secure the 12-6 win
  • Boglis finished with two hits and two RBIs, while Acker and Rodriguez each drove in two runs. Curt Boyd (Braintree, Mass.) added two hits in the effort.

UP NEXT FOR THE RAVENS: Franklin Pierce continues NE10 action this weekend as the series continues against Saint Anselm, tomorrow. This time the two teams will face off at home at 11 a.m. in Rindge.
