RINDGE, N.H. (4/12/26) - The Franklin Pierce Ravens dropped both games of the conference doubleheader against Southern N.H. on Saturday afternoon, falling 29-3 in game one and 20-7 in game two.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Game 1
- Southern New Hampshire started off scoring early with a first inning grand slam and a single run in the second inning to take the 5-0 lead.
- In the bottom of the second inning, an Ivan Arias single advanced Andreas Boglis to third base, who then scored on an error by the Penmen first baseman.
- SNHU added on 17 unanswered runs through the top of the fifth inning before Franklin Pierce was able to cut into the deficit. In the bottom of the fifth inning, Vinny Maslauskas homered to score himself and Nathan Eckerson who had reached on a fielder's choice, to bring the score to 17-3.Â
- Through the final two innings, the Ravens were not able to bring in any more runs, and the Penmen added five more to finalize the score at 29-3.
Game 2
- The Penmen got on the board early with two extra-base hits in the top of the first inning to score three runs. Franklin Pierce tied the game at 3 in the bottom of the inning, starting with a Curt Boyd single that scored Joey Acker who reached on a leadoff walk. Boglis singled to left center field to score Shane Starr, who reached also took first base on a walk. With Jacob Roque in a rundown between first and second base, Boyd scored from third, bringing in the third Ravens run of the game before the final out of the inning.
- SNHU tacked on two more runs to take the 5-3 lead in the top of the second inning, but was answered by Franklin Pierce with a Roque single in the bottom of the inning that scored Starr, cutting the deficit to one run.
- Through the seventh inning, the Penmen tacked on 8 more runs to extend the lead to 13-5.
- In the bottom of the seventh inning, Eckerson hit a three run shot scoring himself, Roque, and Boyd, to bring the score to 13-7.
- In the eighth and final inning, the Penmen added 7 more runs, including two home runs to end the game early, 20-7.
BREAKING DOWN THE NUMBERS
- The Ravens totaled for 4 extra base hits including home runs by Nathan and Maslauskas, and doubles by Acker and Boglis.
