HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Adelphi pair in the first doubles slot took control early, topping Ainhoa Ordonez and Gabriela Yamate 6-4 in the opening match. Ines Gabarro and Candela Tortosa took the court next, but ultimately 6-3. Ana Munoz and Sara Gonzalez rounded out doubles play for the Ravens, but dropped their match 6-3.
- In singles, Gabarro fell 6-3 in back to back sets, giving the Panthers their second point of the day. Gonzalez, Ordonez, and Munoz fell similarly in their respective sets. Yamate was able to take four points in her first set, but couldn't hold momentum to get the point. Tortosa fell in the first set of her match, but took the second 6-3, forcing a third set, which ended in a 8-10 tiebreaker loss.
UP NEXT FOR THE RAVENS: The Ravens travel to St. Petersburg, Fla. on Friday, March 27 to play Eckerd College. The match is set to begin at 11:00 AM.
