Saint Anselm Defeats Franklin Pierce in Conference Matchup

MANCHESTER, N.H. (3/21/26) – The Franklin Pierce men's lacrosse team fell on the road to Saint Anselm, 17-3, on Saturday afternoon in Northeast 10 action at Grappone Stadium.

Saint Anselm jumped out to an early lead, scoring six goals in the first quarter and adding four more in the second to take a 10-1 advantage into halftime. The Hawks continued to build their lead in the third quarter before Franklin Pierce found the back of the net twice late in the fourth quarter.

Ethan Cote scored the Ravens' first goal on a man-up opportunity in the second quarter off an assist from Colin Casey. Nathan Bushy and Aidan Gibbons added fourth-quarter goals for Franklin Pierce to round out the scoring.

Sean Cote (Goffstown, N.H.) made 13 saves in net for the Ravens, while the team collected 29 ground balls defensively. Nick Sawyer (Dracut, Mass.) led Franklin Pierce with six ground balls.

Saint Anselm was led offensively by Ben Turpin, who scored seven goals and added two assists in the win.

Franklin Pierce will return to action in their next conference matchup later this week with AIC. They will host the Yellow Jackets next Saturday (3/28) at 2:00 p.m. at Sodexo Field.
