The Franklin Pierce men's golf team finished 8th out of ten teams at the Saint Anselm Florida Invitation this week.

- Matthew Weed led the Ravens, going +11 on the tournament, shooting consistently over both rounds of the week. In round one, Weed shot one over on the front nine, and six over on the back, for a +7 on day one. On Tuesday, Weed went two over on the front nine and back nine, showing improvement for a +4 on the day.
- Seth Saffell wasn't far behind him, shooting +14 over the two days. Saffell improved his accuracy on day two, after shooting +9 on day one - (39-42— 81), and +5 on day two (38-39—77) on the par 72 course.
- Connor Griffin was just behind Saffell, and shot consistently over the two days of competition. On day one, Griffin went two over on the front nine and eight over on the back nine, scoring 37-43—80. On day two, he shot only one over par on the back nine, going 41-38—79 for a total of +15.
UP NEXT FOR THE RAVENS: The Ravens return to New Hampshire for the Hawk Invitational, also hosted by Saint Anselm on April 8th and 9th. The tournament will take place at Candia Woods Golf Course in Candia, N.H.
