WALTHAM, Mass. (3/14/26) - In their first conference game of the season, the men's lacrosse team lost to Bentley University 5-12 after a strong offensive third period, led by 8 unanswered goals from the Falcons.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Franklin Pierce and Bentley played through a scoreless first period before Bentley struck first early in the second.
- Bentley added another man-up goal to take a 2–0 lead before Franklin Pierce got on the board when Jackson Philion (Charlton, Mass.) converted on an extra-man opportunity with an assist from Connor Henchey (Bellingham, Mass.), cutting the deficit to 2–1 at halftime.
- Bentley pulled away in the third quarter with a dominant offensive stretch, scoring eight goals in the period to build a 10–1 advantage heading into the fourth.
- Franklin Pierce responded with a strong final quarter, scoring four goals. Philion added two more goals in the period to complete a hat trick, while Ethan Cote (North Smithfield, R.I.) and Aidan Gibbons (Billerica, Mass.) also found the back of the net.
- The Ravens' last minute efforts couldn't make up for the strong third period from Bentley, handing their first conference game to the Falcons.
