MANCHESTER, N.H. (2/7/2026) - In the second game of their weekend series at Saint Anselm, Franklin Pierce men's ice hockey fought hard but came up short in a 4-0 loss. The Ravens were held off the scoreboard in all three periods despite solid efforts.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Saint Anselm opened scoring early in the second minute of the first period, and would only continue for the remainder of the game. With six shots in the first period, the Ravens were not able to capitalize, while the Hawks scored again, going into the first intermission 2-0 Saint Anselm.
- The beginning of the second period saw shots traded off by the two teams, but the scoreboard would not change until the twelfth minute of the period. The Hawks scored on an even-strength opportunity, bringing their lead to 3-0.
- This score would stand until mid-way through the third period, when the Hawks would capitalize on a short-handed opportunity due to a holding penalty. Despite power plays on the Ravens' side, and a game high 14 shots in the third period, Franklin Pierce would leave the ice goalless.
