Bentley Outpaces Ravens in High-Scoring Battle, 95–73

RINDGE, N.H. (2/7/26) – The Franklin Pierce University men's basketball team went basket-for-basket early but was unable to keep pace with Bentley's offensive surge, falling 95–73 in a Saturday afternoon Northeast 10 matchup inside The Fieldhouse.

HOW IT HAPPENED

  • Franklin Pierce opened strong and hung with Bentley throughout a highly efficient first half. After falling behind 6–2 early, the Ravens responded with a smooth jumper from Raymond Baka (Atlanta, Ga.) and a three-pointer from Viktar Kachalouski (Brest, Belarus) to close the gap to 9–7. Moments later, Anthony Parker (Middletown, Conn.) buried a three to make it 10–9, and the teams continued trading baskets as the pace picked up.
  • Bentley briefly pushed ahead by five, but Franklin Pierce answered again—Parker connected on another three, and Enmanuel Ferreras (Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic) scored inside to keep the Ravens within one. Neither team led by more than two possessions for most of the period as threes fell on both ends, including makes from Parker and Kachalouski. The Ravens closed the half shooting 53.1%, including 7-for-18 from deep, heading to the locker room trailing just 42–39.
  • The second half, however, belonged to Bentley. The Falcons opened with back-to-back paint scores before Cash McClure splashed a three in transition to stretch the lead to eight. Bentley's physicality at the rim and ability to get downhill shifted the momentum—Clarke, Farrall, and Misic combined for a series of layups that powered a 12–3 stretch and pushed the Falcons ahead by double digits.
  • Franklin Pierce continued to battle, as Zach Watson (Plainfield, N.J.) hit a corner three and Ferreras added another finish inside, but Bentley responded each time. The Falcons' decisive run came with about 12 minutes remaining: after a Ravens turnover, Farrall drilled a transition three, followed by another layup from Clarke to make it a 10–2 run and extend the margin beyond reach. McClure then hit a pull-up jumper and a deep three on consecutive possessions, fueling Bentley toward a 20-plus point advantage.
  • Despite strong late drives from Parker and a pair of threes from the Raven guards, Bentley kept its foot on the gas, shooting 56% in the second half and converting at a 75% clip inside the arc (24–32). The Falcons sealed the game with paint dominance and transition efficiency, finishing with 44 points in the paint, 16 fast-break points, and 12 second-chance points in the 95–73 final.
BREAKING DOWN THE NUMBERS
  • Franklin Pierce shot 46% from the field and matched that mark from deep, hitting 13 three-pointers on 13-for-28 shooting.
  • Anthony Parker led the Ravens offensively with 31 points.
  • Franklin Pierce finished with just eight turnovers while forcing 11 on the defensive end.
