Ravens Fall at Saint Anselm, 7-2

MANCHESTER, N.H. (2/6/2026) - The Franklin Pierce men's ice hockey team dropped a road contest Friday night, falling 7-2 to the Hawks of Saint Anselm College.

HOW IT HAPPENED

  • Saint Anselm opened scoring early, notching three even-strength goals in the first period. The Hawks set a solid defensive effort that would hold for the remainder of the game, not letting up a single goal, and only six shots on goal for the Ravens in the opening period.
  • In the second period, the Hawks would widen the lead to 4-0 before the Ravens would find the back of the net. On an even strength goal in the 12th minute of the period, Thomas Perivolotis would finish off assists from Matthew Frett and Chris Foster. The Hawks would quickly score twice more, going into the final intermission 6-1 in favor of Saint Anselm.
  • In the second minute of the final frame, Frett would capitalize on an even-strength opportunity, with an assist from Chase Leivian. The Ravens would hold the Hawks to a single goal in the third period, finalizing the score at 7-2.
