FLUSHING, N.Y. (2/27/2026) - Franklin Pierce women's tennis battled on the road at Queens College, but was unable to secure a point in a tough match-up. The Ravens had competitive moments throughout the contest, but Queen captured all nine points on the day.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Queens duo in the first doubles slot took control early, topping Ainhoa Ordonez and Gabriela Yamate 6-2 in the opening match. Ines Gabarro and Candela Tortosa took the court next, but fell similarly, 6-2. Ana Munoz and Sara Gonzalez rounded out doubles play for the Ravens, but dropped their match 6-2 as well.
- In singles, Gonzalez was able to take a set against Queens, forcing a third, but fell in the tiebreaker, giving up the Ravens' closest chance at a point. Gabarro held both of her sets close, but ultimately lost both. With solid performances, the remaining singles players from Queens secured the straight-set victories to complete the sweep.
