HOW IT HAPPENED
- Molloy got on the board first in the top of the first inning, taking a 1-0 lead. The Ravens answered in the bottom of the second inning with Jayden Villanueva reaching on a fielder's choice and advancing to second base on a sacrifice bunt by Brycen Tetler. Jacob Roque also found himself on base by way of a fielder's choice and Villanueva advanced to third. Roque stole second base with Joey Acker up to bat, who reached on a fielding error scoring both runners unearned, giving Franklin Pierce the 2-1 lead.
- The score remained untouched through the fourth inning, but Molloy added on a second run to tie the game at two in the top of the fifth. Following a double by Ivan Arias who advanced to third on a ground out. Rafael Rodriguez Rosa would drive in the third Ravens run on a ground out to the pitcher scoring Arias.
- Franklin Pierce scored the final run of the game in the eighth inning in the form of a single home run by Evan Blake. The Lions would attempt to battle back in the final inning, but couldn't get a runner past second base before the inning ended.
