COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. (2/17/2026) - Franklin Pierce field hockey was recognized by the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) on Tuesday with the Division II National Academic Team award. The prestigious acknowledgment is granted to programs that have achieved a grade-point average of 3.50 or higher during the fall semester of the current academic year. 

Franklin Pierce was one of 19 Division II teams to earn the recognition. The team has continually succeeded in the classroom, earning the recognition every year since 2019. 

The program had a 3.65 GPA in the 2025 fall semester and seven students earned a perfect 4.0 GPA>

The field hockey program has been recognized multiple times in the past weeks by the NFHCA in their annual academic awards releases. The Ravens had 14 student-athletes named last week to the NFHCA's National Academic Squad. Four of them were named Scholars of Distinction.
