Field Hockey Recap by Athletic Communications Assistant Megan Raymond

Zavras Named to NFHCA Collegiate Senior Team

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (11/20/2025) - The National Field Hockey Coaches Association named 36 Division II student-athletes to the NFHCA Collegiate Senior Team. This honors athletes with competitive excellence, leadership, and lasting influence on their respective programs.

Among this year's honorees is midfielder Lily Zavras, whose selection reflects both her consistency on the field, and the invaluable role she has played within her team. Over her career, Zavras has served as a versatile midfielder, creating plays on both offense and defense for Franklin Pierce.

Zavras has been a four-year starter for the Ravens, starting in 60 of the 69 games she has appeared in. With 6 goals and 6 assists for a total of 18 points on her career, Zavras has been a force for the Ravens' attacking efforts.

Zavras's leadership has been a game changer for the Ravens, serving as a captain during her junior and senior seasons. Her ability to lead the team with accountability, and high expectations helped push the Ravens to their best record under Head Coach Marissa Butler (7-10, 6-6 NE10), and their third NE10 Tournament appearance in three years.
